In August We...

Enjoyed lots of dinners outside with Mimi and Chip.

Picked and froze 35 lbs of blueberries.

We canned 25 quarts of pickles, lots of relish and 14 pints of pickled beets. Still to can: peaches, tomatoes, applesauce and grape jelly. We got all our produce from local farms. Unfortunately our own yard has been very neglected this year and has not produced even a single tomato.

Watched Annah finish up her soccer season. She did great and scored several goal each game. Best of all, she loves soccer and loves seeing all her friends!

We had a great time at the pool in Corvallis.

Align CenterWe had fun in McMinville at a park for our friend Ruby's 6th birthday.

We had a fun time with all our friends at the annual Homer Davenport parade in Silverton.

We had a great big garage sale together with our neighbors and a few other friends. Mira and Annah organized a Gatorade and cookie stand with the proceeds going to the local food bank. They raised over $25 for the Silverton Food Bank!
Oh and look closely at the photo above, Mira got braces this month! We should have had her raising money to pay for them!

We attended our church picnic and had a great time singing along to the old time gospel music.

We spent a wonderful evening with my new friend Emily and her family at a small, private Matthew Price concert on her parent's AMAZING farm.

We spent an afternoon at the Oregon Garden with our friends Rebecca and Lauren.
