Fridays are one of our favorite days of the week. After breakfast the girls do their math lessons with Shane at the school table and then we either go to the homeschool gym/play day at the gym at Canyonview with all our friends or play with friends somewhere else. We spend the afternoons doing Latin, reading historical non-fiction and history art projects. Right now we're studying the colonial period (we just finished up 8 weeks of study on Native Americans and pilgrims) and for our Friday project day we've been making things like colonial horn books, fabric appliques and sewing cloth dolls.
